About the Connecticut Challenge
Mission:
The Connecticut Challenge empowers cancer survivors to live healthier, happier and longer lives by creating and funding unique survivorship programs and research. In 2012, programs funded by the CT Challenge impacted the lives of over 54,000 cancer survivors.
The CT Challenge Center for Survivorship opened in Fairfield, CT in October 2012 and helps cancer survivors and their supporters to take control of their survivorship by providing research based programs in exercise, nutrition, and psychosocial support. Since opening in October 2012, over 300 cancer survivors have visited the Center to participate in programs, resulting in a tangible positive impact in their lives.
88% of every dollar raised is spent to support programs for cancer survivors!
